Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Materials. Down two cents, or 0.10 per cent, to $20.71 on 14.2 million shares.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financials. Up 28 cents, or 1.21 per cent, to $23.43 on 13.8 million shares.
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Energy. Up $1.27, or 2.33 per cent, to $55.74 on 13.1 million shares.
Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. (TSX:TVE). Energy. Up a penny, or 0.25 per cent, to $3.99 on 8.1 million shares.

Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. (TSX:TVE). Up a penny, or 0.25 per cent, to $3.99 — Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. is buying Deltastream Energy Corp. for $1.425 billion, a move that Tamarack says solidifies its position as the largest producer in northern Alberta’s Clearwater heavy oil play. In a news release Monday, Calgary-based Tamarack said it will pay $825 million in cash, $300 million in the form of a deferred acquisition payment and $300 million in equity comprised of about 80 million Tamarack shares for Deltastream.
Shawcor Ltd. (TSX: SCL). Up 22 cents, or 2.81 per cent, to $8.06 — Energy and infrastructure technology company Shawcor Ltd. is changing its name and launching a strategic review that could result in the sale of its pipeline and oilfield asset management divisions. The company says the new name is conditional on regulatory and shareholder approvals. The name change is expected to occur during the first half of next year. The company’s shares are also expected to trade under a new ticker symbol.
