UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the United Counties of SD&G and Cornwall.
“A line of thunderstorms producing torrential downpours is affecting portions of Eastern Ontario this evening. Localized rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are possible by later this evening,” the statement reads.
For Cornwall, according to The Weather Network, there is a risk of thunderstorms starting at 9 p.m. with rain up to 10mm.
The thunderstorms should take a break at around 10 p.m. Monday before resuming at 2 a.m. Tuesday and continuing until around noon.
Tuesday is forecasted to have a high temperature of 25 degrees.
