SOUTH GLENGARRY ELECTION RESULTS: Lyle Warden elected Deputy Mayor

SOUTH GLENGARRY – At around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, the official election results for the municipality of South Glengarry were announced:

Mayor – Frank Prevost (Acclaimed)        

Deputy Mayor – Lyle Warden

Councillors – Stephanie Jaworski, Martin Lang and Sam McDonell

Warden, who previously served as a councillor, won with 2,902 votes of 4,432 cast for Deputy Mayor.

Of the 12 council candidates, Stephanie Jaworski garnered the most votes, totalling 2,205. Martin Lang received 2,182 votes trailing behing Jaworski and McDonell acquired 2,031 votes.
