CORNWALL, Ontario – Some long-time local school board trustees have been acclaimed in advance of the October election.
Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario trustees Todd Lalonde and Ron Eamer will once again sit at the table representing the Cornwall area.
Likewise Michel Pilon has been acclaimed as trustee with the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l’Est ontarien, as well as Jonathan De Serres.
There will be elections, though for both the public school boards in the Cornwall area.
Those seeking local trustee positions with the Upper Canada District School Board include Art Buckland, Bradley Nutley, Kevin Brisson, Bill Fielding, Wendy MacPherson and David McDonald.
Over with the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario the local candidates include Jean Bedard, Lise Benoit-Leger and Jules Bourdon.
