NORTH STORMONT, Ontario – The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit is seeking the public’s assistance into the investigation of a Fail To Remain Motor Vehicle/Pedestrian Collision that occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2015.
At that time responding officers located an adult male pedestrian suffering from life threatening injury on County Road 22 (Dyer Rd) east of Highway 138 in North Stormont.
Investigation to date reveals that the male victim had been struck by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene. The male victim survived and is recovering from his injuries.
The Stormont Dundas Glengarry OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Mark Zulinski of the Criminal investigation Branch (CIB), is continuing with the investigation.
