CORNWALL, Ontario – Ben Caron of We Be Deliveries is hosting a Fill the Truck Frundraiser for the SD&G OSPCA on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 in the Marrow & Spice Parking Lot.
“I’ve always wanted to do something in the community and I love dogs so the two just married together,” said Caron.
Caron is challenging the community to fill a 17 foot truck with supplies that the OSPCA is running short on, such as wet & dry dog and cat food, dog toys, leaches and collars, as well as cat carriers, non-clumping cat litter, disinfecting wipes, paper towels, dustpans, pens and notepads, rabbit food, kleenex, and even Canadian Tire Money.
The truck will be packed in the Marrow & Spice parking lot at 812 Pitt St., Unit 40 and the event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
McDonald’s will be providing snacks and coffee in the morning.
At noon, a special lunch will be prepared by Marrow & Spice.
Caron said that this is a great opportunity to come out and support creatures that cannot speak for themselves.
