SOUTH STORMONT, Ontario – On Feb. 3, 2019, at approximately 1:15 a.m. Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence in South Stormont Township.
Investigation indicated that the culprit attempted to enter the residence and was confronted by the homeowner. The suspect fled the residence and had attended other properties in the area. Police located the male a short distance away.
Christopher Sabourin, 27, of Cornwall, Ontario was located and arrested and is charged with;
– Break and Enter
– Trespassing by Night (three counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of a Probation Order
He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall Feb. 4, 2019.
