CORNWALL, Ontario – The best things in life really do start with “B” and the first Beer, Bourbon, BBQ and Blues promises to deliver four of those things.

Hosted at the NAV Centre on Saturday, July 14 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event so far boasts an offer of 19 breweries and six different bourbons. Tickets went on sale on May 1 and 550 tickets were sold in the first three days.

Some of the breweries who will be on-site include Rurban Brewery, Humble Beginnings Brewing Company, Mill St., Big Rig, Wellington Brewing Company and more.

“We wanted to create something Cornwall can be proud of,” said Ian Bentley, Director of Conference Services and Food and Beverage at the NAV Centre. “Combining the four “B’s” is a strategy that caters to so many different demographics.”

The third “B”, the BBQ, will be provided by NAV Centre Head Chef Luc McCabe.

“I wanna leave Cornwall charred, the smell, the taste, the atmosphere. Fire pits smoldering with meat hanging charred to perfection. I want to make taste buds dance and have people question What they thought BBQ was,” said Chef McCabe.

The blues will be provided by great bands like the Legendary Castaways, the Gary Cain Band and the JW-Jones Band in the headline spot.

“We are going to open our doors to the country and we’ll see what happens,” said Bentley.

Tickets are $15 each and are available now at www.navplay.ca
