The Cornwall Police Service reports a safe end to an incident on Carleton Street earlier today.
Late on the morning of Aug. 27, officers responded to a report of a barricaded man in the 500-block of Carleton Street, as there were concerns for the individual’s well-being.
Members of the CPS, including the Cornwall Emergency Response Team and Crisis Negotiators, attended the residence to assist with resolving the situation safely.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the man was safely apprehended by police.
