FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – Kayla Kirkey, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 15, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with appearance notice. It is alleged on April 10, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints. She failed to do so and an investigation ensued. On April 15, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 21, 2024.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Orlando Martinez, 47, of Ottawa, was arrested on April 15, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 28, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 15, 2024, the man was detained by members of the Canada Border Services Agency and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed and the man was held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, UTTERING THREATS, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – David Craig, 33, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 15, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:
- Assault with a weapon
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Mischief under $5,000
It is alleged on Aug. 21, 2023, the man assaulted an individual known to him and threatened to kill the man. It is also alleged he damaged the individual’s property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest. On April 15, 2024, the man was located while police were dealing with a separate matter. The warrant was executed and the man was charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on May 21, 2024.
