Cornwall Mayor Justin Towndale and CAO Mathieu Fleury are among the dignitaries and community leaders supporting Meals on Wheels Cornwall and its March for Meals campaign.
Cornwall is one of 181 Ontario communities where Meals on Wheels volunteers hit the road to deliver well-balanced, affordable food to people who might otherwise go without, including isolated seniors and people living with disabilities.
Across Ontario last year, dedicated and compassionate MoW volunteers deliver more than 3.3 million meals to more than 61,000 individuals, 86% of whom are over the age of 65 years.
We salute everyone helping our seniors to live independently and with full dignity in their own homes.
