Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 10th, 2022 and charged with domestic mischief, assault, forcible confinement and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 8th, 2022, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend, shredded mail belonging to the woman, and prevented her from leaving the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 10th, 2022, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON – Robert Landon, 65, of Long Sault was arrested on February 10th, 2022 on the strength of two warrants. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on January 10th, 2022 for a previous fail to attend court offence, and further failed to report to his bail supervision program between June and July of 2021. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for his arrest. On February 10th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and held for a bail hearing.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 10th, 2022 and charged with criminal harassment, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of probation for possessing a weapon and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence on February 10th, 2022 and engaged in threatening conduct. Police attended and took the man into custody, at which time the man was found to be in possession of an edged weapon. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – Raymond Ward, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on February 10th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On February 10th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Barbe, 30, of Ottawa was arrested on February 10th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on November 30th, 2021 for an arson offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 10th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 46-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 10th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on October 5th, 2021, the man made threats to kill his ex-common-law wife and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On February 10th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 28th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
PERSONATION WITH INTENT TO AVOID ARREST, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Coty Casselman, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on February 10th, 2022 and charged with personation with intent to avoid arrest and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged while police were investigating an unrelated matter on December 27th, 2020, the man identified as someone else to police. On February 10th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 19th, 2022.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Tyler Geneau, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on February 11th, 2022 and charged with breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence during his curfew, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the early morning hours on February 11th, 2022, the man was observed outside of his residence, despite the conditions of his release order. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
