A 39-year-old Cornwall man was arrested Oct. 15 and charged with domestic assault with a weapon and overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle another person.
It is alleged, the man threw a coffee table at his girlfriend, grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against a wall.
The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
