OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Male, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on February 24th, 2023 and charged with the following:

  • Operation while prohibited x 2
  • Breach of probation x 4 (for occupying the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle and failing to keep the peace)
  • Breach of recognizance (for failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on February 24th, 2023, the man was operating a motor vehicle, despite being prohibited from doing so, in addition to having conditions to not operate a motor vehicle. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 28th, 2023.

DISTRIBUTION OF INTIMATE IMAGE WITHOUT CONSENT

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old woman of Long Sault, ON was arrested on February 25th, 2023 and charged with distributing an intimate image without consent. It is alleged in December 2022, the woman distributed an intimate image of her ex-boyfriend without the man’s consent. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 25th, 2023, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 21st, 2023. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Male, 62, of Cornwall was arrested on February 25th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on June 7th, 2022, the man failed to stop after being involved in a collision where a cyclist was struck in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Henry Street. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 25th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant while stopped at the Canadian Port of Entry. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on April 6th, 2023.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Male, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on February 25th, 2023 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on February 15th, 2023, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On February 25th, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 6th, 2023.

THREATS X 2, CAUSING A DISTURBANCE, MISCHIEF X 5

Cornwall, ON – Female, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on February 26th, 2023 and charged with causing a disturbance, two counts of uttering threats and five counts of mischief. It is alleged on February 26th, 2023, the woman was causing a disturbance by yelling and screaming, interfering with the lawful enjoyment of property by neighbours in the immediate area. The woman is further alleged to have made threats to kill two individuals known to her. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 6th, 2023.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Brockville man was arrested on February 26th, 2023 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend on June 25th, 2022, the man damaged a wall in her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 26th, 2023, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 21st, 2023. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
