The Cornwall Public Library is the place to be this Family Day, February 20 with several programs aimed at children and youth planned throughout the day.
The movie Shrek is on in French at 10 a.m. and in English at 12 p.m. Other programs are offered as well. Storytime, gaming, the ever-popular floor is lava, an arts & crafts program, and musical chairs.
The Library is a great place to be for families and individuals on a day when very few places are open. We are happy to provide that space and offer special programming.
As a tie-in with the ongoing Black History Month, a first for the Library, we are thrilled to present the Black History Makers of Cornwall Panel on February 25, 2023 at 2pm. We highlight 3 incredible individuals who have left their mark on our community! Moderator Stacey Ottley from CUREA speaks with Senator Bernadette Clement, City Councillor Fred Ngoundjo, and Citizen of the Year Lee Theodore. We’ll explore their accomplishments, inspirations, future goals, and more. Artwork highlighting body painting culture from Yafa Goawily will be on display.
All our programs are free. Details can be found on our website at www.library.cornwall.on.ca. We will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Family Day. Make it a part of your day!
