Pews were packed at Trinity Anglican Church on Sunday, December 4th for Centre 105’s first Christmas Concert Fundraiser.
It was a beautiful afternoon of music performed by Cornwall’s Centennial Choir, Trinity Church Choir, and Christ Church Long Sault Choir. After the concert, guests were invited for a Christmas party in the Trinity main hall, which included hot chocolate, Christmas treats, and photos with Santa Claus himself!
“Because of the high attendance and all of the positive feedback, we are planning on making this an annual fundraiser, along with our Breakfast Fundraiser in September,” said Centre 105’s executive director, Taylor Seguin, “One of the highlights was the high number of adults getting into the fun and having their photo taken with Santa!”
During the reception part of the afternoon, music was performed by the Christ Church Praise Band, lead by Penny Bedard.
“The event was a huge success, with over 100 people attending both the concert and reception. The Church was full! Our goal was not only to fundraise for Centre 105, but also to spread the importance of togetherness and community,” added Seguin, “Thank you to Trinity Anglican Church for their support and letting us use the Church, thank you to the Baptist and St. Columban Church’s for allowing us to use their parking lots. Special thanks to all three choirs for putting on such a terrific performance!”
