On November 13, 2022, Ms. Céline Baillargeon-Tardif, Executive Director of ACFO SDG, was awarded the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medallion by our Member of Parliament Mr. Eric Duncan.
“We are very proud of our Executive Director. Her dedication, leadership and service to our community over the years has been recognized and we celebrate this well-deserved award,” said Jean-Yves Lemoine, President of ACFO SDG.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal was created by many Members of Parliament to mark the Queen’s historic milestone of seven decades of leadership and public service in February 2022 before her sad passing last month.
Prior to this extraordinary event, on November 12, 2022, ACFO SDG attended the Réseau de soutien à l’immigration francophone de l’Est de l’Ontario (RSIFEO) 15th Anniversary Gala. ACFO SDG was one of 15 organizations recognized for its involvement with the RSIFEO. Mrs. Dianne Poirier, an extraordinary volunteer and past president, was also celebrated.
