Levels in the Raisin River in Martintown have dropped despite a rainy season.

As summer winds down — fall officially arrives September 22 — the region continues to experience a prolonged dry spell. Despite all the rain we received this season, water levels in water courses have been low recently, as demonstrated by the rocks and vegetation that have appeared on the Raisin River in Martintown. More sunny weather is forecast for the weekend.
