It will be a fun day at Cornwall Public Library on Saturday, October 22 as the Library wraps up its celebration of Ontario Public Library Week.
Family Fun Day will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Library’s Hubsher Gallery, which will feature many exhibitors promoting family-oriented services, face painting, a spooky craft workshop, the floor is lava activity, a favourite with the kids, the movie Hocus Pocus, and other activities put on by the exhibitors themselves.
You could win a BBQ courtesy of Walmart Logistics simply by visiting the exhibitors and filling out your ballot. The draw occurs the same day.
“Family Fun Day was a yearly event at the Library many years ago” said Pierre Dufour, Programming and Marketing Manager at the Library, “we felt it was time to bring it back and let people rediscover the Library and many of the services available to them in area, while having fun doing it.”
Street parking is free on Saturday as well as in the adjacent parking lot. We are located at 45 Second Street East, corner of Sydney in downtown Cornwall.
