CORNWALL, Ontario – Grab your cowboy hat and boots ’cause it’s rodeo time in Alexandria.
The second annual Alexandria Western Rodeo wraps up this Sunday with a ton of events at 20640 McCormick Road.
Gates, concession stands, and vendors open at 10 a.m.
Morning events include a Kids’ Corner with face painting, inflated slides, and a chocolate milk sampling, courtesy of the Glengarry Dairy Committee.
At 11 a.m., the beer tent opens, leather activities kicks off for all ages, and an antique tractor show revs up.
At 2 p.m., the rodeo presented by ‘Wild Horse Production’ guarantees three hours of action – cowboy style.
This year there’s also a new Wild Cow Milking Competition.
Admission to the rodeo is $25. Kids 12 and under get in free.
