Second Annual Cornwall Electric Hockey Tournament for United Way

Cornwall Electric is hosting a charity hockey tournament among utilities companies to support the community.

Cornwall, Ontario – Cornwall Electric and United Way Centraide SDG invite you to watch and support the Second Annual Cornwall Electric Hockey Tournament taking place at the Benson Centre on Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.

The tournament is bringing six teams together across Ontario for a friendly ultility vs. utility company rivalry to raise money for the United Way Centraide SDG, including Cornwall Electric, FortisOntario, Hydro Ottawa, Hydro One Winchester, Hydro One Orleans, and Hydro One Brockville.

Along with a packed schedule of hockey games, Cornwall Electric is also hosting an online 50/50 raffle and on-site activities that are open to the public, including prize draws and a youth activity room.

The event will include nine 40-minute games for each team to face off, and a final game with the winning ulility company getting the coveted tournament trophee.

The hockey games, taking place on Pad 1, are free to watch. Stop by to support the players and help fundraise for our local United Way.
