Specialist High Skills Major
The SHSM is a ministry-approved specialized program that allows students to focus their learning on a specific economic sector while meeting the requirements to graduate from secondary school. SHSM programs assists students in their transition after graduation to apprenticeship training, college, university or the workplace. Students who successfully complete a SHSM receive:
. Ontario Secondary School Diploma with an embossed SHSM Seal
. SHSM Record documenting their achievement
. Formal recognition on their Ontario Student Transcript

The Royal Canadian Legion (Heather Branch #357) Award is presented to a deserving graduate who has shown academic proficiency. Presented by Ms. Sandra MacMillan
In 2014, Rothwell-Osnabruck teacher Stephanie Grady courageously battled a rare form of cancer called NUT Midline Carcinoma. In 2015, to honour Stephanie’s life and legacy, her husband, Nicholas Grady, donated funds back to the community and established the Stephanie Grady Memorial Scholarship.
