PAQUIN, Yvon Maurice – with family by his side on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Carolyn Paquin (née Jackson). Loving father of Bob (Barbara Mendel), Ray and Paul (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Steven, Nicholas, Christopher, Antonia, Michelle, Alisha, Devin and Christian. Survived by sisters, Carmen Swerdfeger and Doris Baudin. Predeceased by parents, Albert and Marie-Ange (née Thibault) Paquin and by brothers, Claude and Richard. Yvon was a proud , dedicated, and long time employee of Domtar of Cornwall and retired in 1991 after 40 years of service. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 11 a.m. on Saturday until the time of Funeral. A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
