Belmore, S Wayne – On April 24th, 2020 at age 67 while at home, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, passed away in the morning hours having lost his courageous battle with AML (acute myeloid leukemia). He was called upon by his higher power to commence on his new journey. Wayne, beloved spouse of Fran (Chénier) Martin, leaves behind his children: Shannon Belmore (Dave Czarny), Valerie Mitschke (Michael), Daniel Martin (Lisa da Costa) and Melanie Martin. Cherished Grandpa of Christian (Josianne), Makenzie, Caleb, Ben, Ayan, Alissia and great Grandpa to Tyllie. Dear brother of Philip Belmore (Alyson), Gail Smart (Michael), Henry S. (Anne). Predeceased by his parents Henry Sr. Belmore and Dorothy (Boyer) Belmore. Wayne, a natural born leader, spouse, father and friend touched many lives in his path. Known to have worked at Domtar, president of local 212 and a friend to Bill W to the end! A man who will be remembered and dearly missed. We were blessed to have him in our life. From this day forward a new star will be shinning brighter upon us. Git’R done, rest in peace sweetheart. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Rite of Committal at a later date.
