Susan Elizabeth (nee Simmons) Baxter
BAXTER, Susan Elizabeth (nee Simmons) – Peacefully on April 15, 2019 at Hospice Cornwall in her 86th. Predeceased by her husband William Baxter. Loving mother to Cynthia (John) of Oakville, Scott (Julie) of Simcoe and Carol Ann of Martintown ON. Proud gramma of Marlee, Matthew, Cooper and Sam. Favorite “Sis” to John (Marilyn) and Colin (Helen). Predeceased by brother Paul and her sister-in-laws Sarah and Gladys. Cherished sister-in-law to Mildred Johnston (Alban) and Jack Baxter (Barbara) all of Hamilton. Susan was a teacher and together with her husband Bill were two of the original owners and developers of Sundrim Golf Club in Caledonia ON. Sue was completely devoted to her family and an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Ottawa Red Blacks, Hamilton Ti-Cats and of course her beloved Toronto Raptors. As per her wish’s cremation has taken place. A celebration with family and friends in honour of Susan’s life will follow. If so desired donations in Sue’s memory may be made to Hospice Cornwall.
