Stephen (Steve) Lepage
1961-2024
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Lepage (Steve) on Monday, August 12th, 2024 in Cornwall. Steve was the loving husband of Catharine (née Robertson) and cherished dad to Eric Lepage, Sarah Amelotte (Joel), Jessica Lariviere (Robbie) and Benjamin Thibeault. Steve’s favorite role was being Papa to Rukah, Brynn, his little buddy Mason, Dominic and Mya who adored him! Also left to mourn is Steve’s step-mom, Agathe, siblings and step-siblings: Brian Lepage (Brigitte), Joanne Sigurdson (Dale), Karen Ingola (Roddy), Micheal Besner (Margie), Maurice Besner (Danielle) and Sylvie Rose (Gary), sister-in-law Joan Jensen (Darryl).
Steve will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is pre-deceased by his parents Ed and June Lepage (née Eamer) and by his previous wife Gisele Lepage (née Campeau).Steve was a kind and gentle man always helping anyone who needed it! His presence will be sorely missed.
As per Steve’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2 Helen Street, Cornwall, ON, Friday, August 30th, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the church at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 31st, 2024 followed by interment at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
