Mason, Ronald Joseph- At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday, May 6th, 2020. He was 73. Loving husband of Brenda Higgins. Beloved father of Catherine Mason-Cameron and Cory Mason, stepfather of Shawn Banville (Lisa) and Andrew Banville (Sandy). Cherished Grampy of Curtis, MacKenzie, Emma, Abby, Carrick, Rhyland, Kinsley and Keira. Survived by his siblings; Richard (Sheila), Morgan (Judy), Brian (Dawna), John (Bonnie) Perry (Debbie) and David (Annie). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wilbert and Emma Mason (Menard) and his siblings Bernie Mason (Jan) and Wanda Mason. Ron will be fondly remembered by family, friends, colleagues and golf buddies as a kind, jovial, generous person. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Rite of Committal at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
