Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Reginald Bernard Reus of Summerstown; age 90 years. Beloved husband of Carol Reus (née Martin) for 68 years. Devoted father of Jennifer (Stanley), Anthony (Sharyn), Beverley (Marc), Christopher and Christine (Rob). Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Con and sister, Margaret. Reginald will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and neighbors. Reg immigrated to Montreal in 1950 from his birthplace of London, England. After retiring from Nortel, he and Carol moved to Cornwall. Left with more time to pursue his passion for darts as a top player and tireless organizer, he brightened many a day for his Legion Comrades. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Reginald a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
