It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Raymond E. Besner at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the age of 96 years.

Beloved husband of Loretta Besner (née Taillon). Loving father of Robert Besner (Wendy), Vivianne Langford (Randy), Suzanne Blair (Jonathan), Claude Besner, Carole McKee (Danny), Raymond Besner (Patricia) and Jean-Guy Besner (Angela). Treasured grandfather of Shawn Besner (Yvette), Jason Besner (Magdalena Kulczyna), Angèle Barrington (Russell), Karen Langford, Jennifer Haley (Gary, Melissa major, Alexandra Besner (Matt Girgis), Shane Besner, Bridget Michaud (Eric Trudell), Spencer Besner, and Geneviève Ryan (Patrick). Cherished great-grandfather of 15.

He will be dearly missed by his siblings Jeannette Tyo (late William), Simone Hardy (late Maurice), Lilianne Larose (late Maurice), Claire Goudreault (Lucien) and Marcel Besner (Yvonne).
