CHEVRIER, Raymond A. – peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Raymond Chevrier, age 88, resided in Montreal for 30 years during his prestigious career as President of a division of Canadian Celanese. Ray returned to his hometown of Cornwall upon retirement to enjoy life on the St. Lawrence River. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite (née Charlebois) Chevrier. Dear husband of Edna McBean of Cornwall. Loving father of Joanne, Marc (Lori Cook), and Julie, all of Montreal. Proud grandfather of Joshua, Dylan, Emily, Jonathan and Audrey. Predeceased by four brothers Leonard, Lawrence, Leo (the late Pauline) and Emile (June) of Ottawa. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 12 Noon Monday March 25, 2019 until the time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday March 25, 2019 in Precious Blood Church Glen Walter at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
