Laviolette, Betty (Tyo) – At St-Joseph Villa on Friday, April 10, 2020. She was 84. Betty was a former employee of S-Joseph Villa and the Janet McDonald Pavilion where she was loved by her many co-workers. Beloved wife of Roy Laviolette. Loving mother of Dianne Willard (Arthur), Dale Vivarais, Debbie Fraser and chosen daughter Mary Compeau. Sadly missed by; her grandchildren Carrie Brunet (Denis), Kory Willard (Kourtney), Eric Vivarais, Kyle Vivarais (Rebecca), Kelsey Cole (Andrew), Kasie Glenn (Jeff), 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her siblings Marty and Cheryl. She is pre-deceased by her parents Denis and Dorothy (Laprade) Tyo and her siblings John, Mildred, Joyce, Eleanor, and Judy. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Rite of Committal at St-Columban Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, a donation to a the Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated by the family.
