Michael Patrick Sullivan
Thursday, May 25th, 1950 – Monday, May 3rd, 2021
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Sullivan, husband, Father, Papa, brother, brother-in-law and uncle to so many. Michael left the world on May 3, at home, surrounded by loved ones. He succumbed to cancer after a lengthy and courageous battle. He is predeceased by his parents, Dan and Eileen, and sister Shannon. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia (Dineen), son Christopher (Julie), his daughter Shannon (Nick) and his beautiful grandchildren; Trinity, Emma, Finnley, Rosie and John. Michael loved his siblings dearly; Shane (Kim), Jaye (Jake), Jeffrey and dear family friend, Kay Campbell. Michael worked in the financial world and sat on many boards in the community. He was a kind and gentle soul who never forgot a joke and could deliver it with perfect timing. He made his dream of travelling in a motor, a reality. He and Patty travelled to many places, saw wonderful sights and met many wonderful people. You will be missed Michael. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall. Online condolences may be made to: www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca.
