Hamilton, Mavis June (née Burke) – at Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Hamilton. Loving mother of Pamela Stowell (Clifford), Debra Lee Hamilton (Bruce Pelkey), and Ralph Hamilton. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer York (Darin), Tammy Mitchell (Danny), Roger Fournier (Darcy) and William Hamilton. Dear greatgrandmother of Olivia, Breonna, Hunter, Taylor, Gavin, Lauryn, Aubrey and Kali. Survived by brother Steve Burke, and sisters Eleta Thompson, Ruth Burke and Shirley Walker. Predeceased by her parents William and Esther (nee Cameron) Burke. Also predeceased by her brothers Arthur, Edmond, Harold, Howard, Kenneth and Ronald and her sisters Dorthea Colbran, Vivian Lepansee, Gladys Muise, Mary Parent and Joan Burke.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Glen Stor Dun Lodge for their wonderful care given to her.
There will be a private celebration of her life at a later date.
