FOBERT, Maurice Joseph – Peacefully at St. Joseph Continuing Care Centre on Thursday March 14, 2019 in his 90th year. Husband of the late Réjeanne (Jan) D’Aoust. Loving father of Shirley Lorrain (Michael), late Henri Fobert and late Dominique Fobert. Sadly missed by 3 grandchildren, Matthew (Chantal), Melissa (Jamie), Jessica (Jason) and 5 great grandchildren, Gabriel, Cloé, Joshua, Olivia and Declan. Dear brother of George Fobert Jr. (Yolande) and Lorraine Davis (Ervin). Predeceased by his parents, George and Maude (Boyer) Fobert, sisters, Delores Sylvain, Joan Kucyniak, Dorothy Bernier, Helen Duflo, Beatrice Scott and brothers, Morgan Fobert and Gerald Fobert. Funeral Liturgy will be held in the chapel of the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall at a later date. Interment, St. Columban’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
