Kenneth Donald Bergeron
February 27, 1942 – April 9, 2024
It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the sudden death of Ken in Cornwall on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the age of 82. Ken was the loving and devoted husband of Diane (Quenneville) for over 28 years. He was the dear father of two children, from a former marriage, Tina Boisclair (Albert) and Mykie Bergeron, and a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ken was the son of the late Allan and Elsie (Fortier) Bergeron. He is survived by his siblings Norma Lucas (late Brian), Allan (Elaine), Bonnie and Steven as well as many nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by brother Brian (Susan) and sister Judy McDonald (Larry). Ken was a retired appliance sales representative for Sears Canada at the Cornwall Square for close to 30 years. As per Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario where family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, Tollgate Road, Cornwall, Ontario on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow at Notre-Dame Cemetery, South Branch Road, Cornwall, Ontario. If so desired, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall in Ken’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
