Judy Ann (Smith) Lapointe
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom Judy Lapointe. Born in Plymouth New Hampshire on December 24th, 1945 she moved to Canada at the age of 17. Mom retired from Sears after more than 30 years but continued to cherish the many longstanding friendships she made there. She will be deeply missed by her 3 children Sonya (Denis Séguin), Lyette (Gordon Roseborough) and Camil (Christine Hickey). She was most proud of her grandchildren Jacob, Nicolas, Niève, Caleb, Thomas, Emma, Laura, Sarah, Thomas and her great-grandchild Elijah. Mom fought a courageous 7 year battle with cancer and was determined until the very end. She died peacefully with her family at her side. We would like to thank Dr.’s Leigh Carson, Maggie Yu and Anthony DiCintio for their compassionate care. Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St West (613-932-8482) on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 for the Funeral Service to be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Maloney officiating. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be greatly appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence can be left at www.lahaiesullivan.ca
