BARKER, John “Jack” – Mr. John “Jack” Barker at Woodland Villa Nursing Home, Long Sault, Ontario on Friday March 29, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Virginia (née McGillis) Barker. Loved father of Patricia Chisholm (Gerry), Bill (Lorraine), Greg (Gail), and Jeff (Kimberley). Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren Brennan (Breanna), Katherine, Daniel, Bryanna (Connor), and Sarah. Loved son of the late Jacob “Jay” and Lillian (née Bender) Barker. Also predeceased by his brother Fred. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. If so desired, contributions in his memory to Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
