Jim McCosham
MCCOSHAM, Jim – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our dear Dad/Jim on February 6, 2019. A model of courage and grace, Jim’s legacy is one of friendship, loyalty, kindness and humility. Loving companion of 20 years to Dona. Dear father to Laurel (Doug), Adam and Gregory. Cherished son of Jean and the late L.J. McCosham. Adored brother of Cathy (Sheldon) and the late Brenda Baswick. Jim leaves behind many treasured family members, including special cousins/close friends, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by countless friends as well as by the community he called home for over 50 years. An independent insurance broker for most of his life, Jim was an unassuming gentleman well liked for his down-to-earth nature and sense of humour. A funeral service will be held at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. followed by an informal reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Children’s Treatment Centre in Jim’s name would be most appreciated.
