STAPLEY, James – Mr. James Stapley peacefully at Cornwall Hospice on Thursday January 31, 2019 at the age of 81 years; Retired – RCAF, and Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297. James was born in Alexandria on May 23, 1937 to the late Thomas William and Pearl Lorna (née Hart) Stapley. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place with Rite of Committal to take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired contributions in his memory to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
