Cherished grandmother of Kayleb, Bentley, Raeleigh, Alexandre and Austin. Loving sister of Laurie Lalonde (the late Rod) and Kay Duffy (Joseph). Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Bridgette (née Fannon) Dempsey and by her sister Eirinn Dempsey. A Celebration of Irene’s Life will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841) on Thursday, April 4 from 7 to 9 pm.
