Huguette (Leroux) Arseneault
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Huguette Arseneault (née Leroux) at St. Josephs Continuing Care Centre, on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at the tender age of 96. She joins her late husband Clarence Arseneault and son Michael Pelletier. Predeceased by her parents Gaspard and Blanche (née Benoit) Leroux and her three siblings Jean-Pierre, Liliane and Claudette Leroux. She leaves behind her two daughter-in laws, Nicole Paquette and Chloe Anne Baker. Her five Grandchildren, Anik (Brandon), Sophie (Tyler), Nygel, Jamie (Lisa) and Travis as well as five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Huguette will be greatly missed by her extended Arseneault family. Born in Valleyfield, Quebec, she lived a remarkable life as a nurse. She touched countless lives with her healing hands and kind heart. Huguette’s warmth, kindness and spirited love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In following her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home- 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Kevin Maloney officiating. Interment to follow at Nativity Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart Institute at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa would be appreciated by the family.
