Hildred Hughes
Peacefully, with her family by her side at the Cornwall Hospice on Monday, April 22, 2019. Hildred Hughes (nee Morrow) a gifted artisan and dressmaker whose work graced the stages of the Shaw Festival Theatre in Niagara-on-the-Lake for many seasons and more recently the settings of Upper Canada Village. Beloved wife of Bill and dear mother of Andy (Karena) of Cambridge, Lea (Rick) of Waterdown, Jesse (Carly) of Toronto and Joel (Alyson) of Winnipeg. Grandmother of Chase, Sierra, Noah (deceased), Ella, Ethan, Hudson, Sydney and Ruth.
Predeceased by her grandson Noah, her parents Alred (Bud) Morrow and Ruth Morrow (Brigham) and her brother Doug. Will be sorely missed by her twin brother Alred (Lorraine) of Hanover and sisters in law Audrey of King, Margaret (Keith)of Brockville, Grace (Nils) of Port Elmsley, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and the long list of friends who visited during the time of her illness.

Her remains have been cremated, a celebration of life will follow. Donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
As a Memorial to Hildred a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
