RENNIE, Helen (Poyner) – It is with great sadness the family announces her passing at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She was 94. Beloved wife of the late Earle W. Rennie (October 2018). Cherished mother of Patricia Soutter (Bruce), Diane Futter-Rennie (Bill), and Beverly Morin (Roger). Adored grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 19. Predeceased by her parents, John and Edith (Brown) Poyner, her son, Robert Rennie, her daughter, Catherine Juteau and her siblings, Lily MacDonald, Norman Poyner, Rose Bonfield and Richard Poyner. Mom will be lovingly remembered for her good humour, grace and the importance and love she felt for her children, grandchildren and her family. We would like to extend a sincere Thank You to all the staff, doctors, nurses, volunteers and especially her Audrey for the exceptional care and love Mom received by all. Funeral Service will be held at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Monday June 3, 2019 at 11am. Committal to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
