It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Helen Elizabeth Samson (née Emerton) at the Cornwall Community Hospital with family by her side on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the age of 98 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald Joseph Samson. Cherished mother of: Gerald Edward Samson, Shawn Samson (Louanne), and Timothy Samson. Treasured grandmother to 7 and great grandmother to 9.
Helen is predeceased by her parents Edward and Mary (née Barry) Emerton; her son Brent Samson (Cindy), her granddaughter Kelly Anne Samson and her siblings: Edward Emerton (Fernande), June Desrosiers (late Alarie) and Dawn Emerton.
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL, ON on Monday October 21, 2024 between the hours of 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
As well as on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 11:00AM to 12:30PM prior to a Mass of Christian Burial that will be held at 1:00PM at St. Columban’s Catholic Church, 36 Fourth Street W, Cornwall, ON.
Memorial Donations to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
