Grace McEwen (Campbell)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grace a dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother in her 92nd year. She is predeceased by her husband Gregor and daughter Mary (Warren). Survived by daughters Carole Brown (Bob) and Marlene McEwen. Will be missed by grandchildren David Brown and Karen Vaillancourt (Marty) and great grandchildren Cassidy and Amy. Survived by brother John Campbell (Florence) and sister-in-law Ada McEwen. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Stuart Campbell, sister Elsie MacKinnon and parents Harry and Henrietta Campbell (née Alguire).
The family is grateful for the loving care Grace received at Riverdale Terrace Retirement Residence and Cornwall Community Hospital.
Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. Maxville (613-527-2898). At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Later this spring there will be a private burial of cremated remains in the Maxville cemetery to reunite Grace with Gregor and daughter Mary. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Grace, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
