Gerald Campeau MT HOLLY — Gerald Campeau, 72 of Mt Holly died December 25, 2023 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 23, 1951 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, the son of Edgar and Annette (Cuerrier) Campeau. Gerald attended St. Lawrence College in Cornwall, Ontario where he played Ice Hockey. He was a terminal manager for Consolidated Freightways in Rutland and Bellows Falls for many years, then worked for years for Shrewsbury Mountain School doing maintenance until his retirement in 2021. He enjoyed building things. Survivors include his wife, Jane (Dufresne) Campeau, whom he married on July 31, 1993 in Massena, NY, two brothers Ronald (Elizabeth) Campeau from Cornwall, and Gilles Campeau (Linda) from Ottawa, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. A celebration of his life will be at a later date. Arrangements are with the Aldous Funeral Home.
