It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florient Lalonde on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Loving father of Suzanne Monette (Gaston), Michel (Evelyn), Daniel (Guylaine) and Julie Beaulieu (Gérald). He is predeceased by his wife Esther (née Farley), daughter Nicole Roy, Ginette Lalonde-Thomas (Garry), his parents Henri Lalonde (Ida St. Denis), step-mother Florida Boisvenue, his sister Aline Martin (Lucien) and Annette Gagnier (Claude) and many Farley brother and sister-in-laws and his dear friend Faby Cyr. He was pepère to Patrick, Mathieu, Amanda, Jessica and Alexandre. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his friends and his neighbors. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes East Branch 614 first Street East (613-933-2841) on Friday April 19 from 9 a.m. until the time of Service. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday April 19, 2024 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Niche to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute, Cornwall Community Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
