Edna (Cookie) May Gaucher
1945-2024
At the Cornwall Community Hospital on March 22, 2024. Edna May Gaucher of Cornwall, 78 years. Edna worked for 38 years with Loblaws as a meat cutter and even followed them to Ottawa, driving back and forth every day.
She is survived by her siblings Michael Gaucher, Joy Morin and Debbie Marion (Michel) all of Cornwall. She is predeceased by her parents Orell and Bernice Gaucher (née Larocque) and by her sister Carol Fortier and her brothers John Gaucher (Connie), Mark Gaucher and Stanley Gaucher. She will be sadly missed by her many nephews and nieces.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street (613-938-3888). At Edna’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, Memorial donations to the Lung Association of Canada or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
