CARRIÈRE, Edna (Ladouceur)–Affectionately known as Memère, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday January 17, 2020. She was 91. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Carrière. Loving mother of René Carrière (Christine) and Lise Stanley (Dean). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Renée (Todd), Jarrett (Allyson), Kristen (Mark) and Jensen (Patricia) and her great-grandchildren, Oliver, Calla and Kieran. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Hermine and Anna (Samson) Ladouceur, her brothers, Ernest, Floride and Leo, her sisters, Laurette, Beatrice, Lucienne, Lucille, Ida and Rita and in infancy, Joseph, Anita, Eva and baby Lucille. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Visitation will be held on Friday February 7, 2020 from 7-9pm and Saturday February 8, 2020 from 9:30-11am followed by Funeral Liturgy in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rite of Committal, at Notre Dame Cemetery Cemetery, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
