Dr. Claude Charles Manigat

C’est avec le cœur brisé que nous annonçons le décès du Dr Claude Charles Manigat entouré de sa famille le vendredi 9 février 2024 à l’Hôpital communautaire de Cornwall à l’âge de 86 ans. Époux bien-aimé depuis 43 ans d’Alta Kernisan-Manigat. Père bien-aimé d’Ali Marc Manigat (Nicole), Olivier Antoine Manigat (Lauren) et Sébastien Joseph Manigat. Grand-père chéri de Camille et Étienne Manigat. Cher frère de Max Manigat (Nicole), Huguette Manigat-Timothé et Marguerite Manigat-Pauld (Henri). Il est précédé par ses parents Marc Aurèle et Joséphine Manigat (née Vincent) ainsi que par ses frères et sœurs Michel Manigat, Marie-Gabrielle Manigat-Dejoie, Catherine Manigat-Gilles et Charles Manigat. Les funérailles auront lieu à l’église de la Nativité le vendredi 23 février 2024 à 11 h. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Claude Charles Manigat surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 9th, 2024 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband for 43 years of Alta Kernisan-Manigat. Loving father of Ali Marc Manigat (Nicole), Olivier Antoine Manigat (Lauren) and Sébastien Joseph Manigat. Cherished grandfather of Camille and Étienne Manigat. Dear brother of Max Manigat (Nicole), Huguette Manigat-Timothé and Marguerite Manigat-Pauld (Henri). He is predeceased by his parents Marc Aurèle and Joséphine Manigat (born Vincent) and by his siblings Michel Manigat, Marie-Gabrielle Manigat-Dejoie, Catherine Manigat-Gilles and Charles Manigat. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Nativity Church on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. Memorial Donations may be made in Dr. Manigat’s memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association (https://cmha.ca/).
